Tall Order is published by Monryte SRL (Romania), "we". This policy explains what data the game uses. We keep it to the minimum the game needs. We do not sell personal data and we do not show third-party ads.

Data stored on your device

Your progress (best scores, coins, cherries, unlocked items, settings) is stored locally on your device.

Data we process on our servers

When online, the app signs in anonymously (Google Firebase Authentication) — no email, phone or real name is required. Linked to that random account ID we store, in Google Cloud Firestore:

a display name you choose (shown on leaderboards and to friends) and your friend code;
your best height, weekly best and Daily Tower scores (shown on leaderboards);
the list of friends you added with a friend code;
a backup copy of your game progress (visible only to your account).

Legal basis: performance of the service you requested (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

Reporting names

Display names are checked against a list of offensive words in every supported language. If you still see an offensive name, tap ⋯ next to it to report it or hide that player. A report stores the reported player's account ID and name and your account ID; we review reports and rename or remove offending profiles. Hidden players are remembered only on your device.

Service providers

Google Firebase — anonymous sign-in, leaderboards, cloud save. Privacy
RevenueCat — processes in-app purchase receipts so purchases can be restored. Payments themselves are handled by Google Play / Apple; we never see card details. Privacy
Sentry — crash reports (device model, OS version, app version, error trace). No personal identifiers are attached. Privacy
PostHog — anonymous gameplay statistics (e.g. games played, retry rate) to improve the game, tied to a random ID. Privacy

Legal basis for crash reports and statistics: our legitimate interest in keeping the game stable and fun (Art. 6(1)(f)). Some providers process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push token is sent to us.

Children

The game is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; display names are filtered and no contact details are collected.

Retention and deletion

Server data is kept while your account is active. To delete it, email us with your friend code (shown on the Friends screen) and we will erase your profile, scores, friends and cloud save within 30 days (details). Uninstalling the app deletes local data.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP) or your local authority.
